This is a one year Sponsorship for a fiber ewe at Brown Dog Farm. When you fill out the form with your wool color preference, Rachel will match you up with one of our beautiful Shetland or Icelandic ewes. You can schedule a visit to meet her, feed her a snack, watch her raise her lambs, and walk the pastures with her. For a whole year we will send you monthly updates, a set of note cards, an Invitation to our Shearing Day Party, and when it is ready, her 2024 washed fleece.

In the check out, you will fill out a short form that will ask your preferences for wool color and sheep breed. In general, Shetlands are smaller with softer fleece of a shorter staple. Icelandics are larger animals with larger staple length. They are a double coated animals with a shorter undercoat (thel) and a longer outer coat (tog). If you do not know what you would like just choose either and fill out the message with what you would like and I will match you with the perfect gal.
