This is a handspun cake of 100% Mohair from our Angora goat Watson. Angora goats produce Mohair fiber, while Angora Rabbits produce Angora fiber. Watson is one of our 2 colored Angora goats. His fiber has a very long staple, is shiny and wavy . It ranges from a light cinnamon to a warm tan color. Mohair is slippery and shiny, but not especially springy. It knit up to a soft drapey fabric. It is especially warm and creates a soft halo.

This is handspun 2 ply DK weight .

Minimally processed, by a local mill and spun at home. We do not coat our sheep or goats so, this yarn may have a ‘bit’ of vegetable matter, guaranteeing to you our commitment to the most natural yarn we can produce with the lowest carbon footprint.
